In our society, qualities such as tenderness, gentleness and subtlety are often ascribed to people who are perceived as female. Anna and Lara are addressing this theme in an animated film, with which they want to show that there is power in these qualities. During their time in the studio, they will do research, work on the story and do a lot of sketching and storyboarding – the best ideas often come to them while they are drawing.
