B-Girl Battles

«B-Girl Battles» is a research project and piece by the young dance company FLUX Crew, which Pia Ringel, Ida Winter and Célia Bermudez have further developed in the Sparx studio time. B-Girl Battles explores breaking and the breaking scene as B-Girl from a queer-feminist perspective. In 2023, several shows are already planned in Switzerland and abroad.

«Sparx gave us time to work intensively on the project. On the one hand, because Sparx was limited to these three months and on the other hand Sparx supported us financially. So that we could concentrate on the project. Also, thanks to Sparx, we were able to use facilities that otherwise would not have been available to us for free.»
